The word Angels comes from the Greek word angelos, meaning ‘messenger’.  Angels are mentioned in all religious teachings.  Angels respond to our prayers and act as the intermediaries between us and God.

The common Hebrew word for angel is malach, which means messenger.  Almost every book of the Torah contains references to angels.  Angels mentioned in the Quran and Hadith are numerous, and only 3 are mentioned in the Christian Bible.  

Usually when we are in trouble and when we pray they may intervene to save us. Heavenly Angels, often referred to as Guardian Angels, are mentioned numerous times in the Scriptures. Therein we learn that Angels are Spiritual Beings created by God to serve Him, and sent by God to watch over us, to deliver His message, to guard and protect us from danger, to do battle with other spiritual beings on our behalf.

” Angels are sent by God to bring the truth, especially the big truths, to specific people in critical situations.”  The Tess Theory after Della Reese TV Series Touched by an Angel.  The biggest truth is that God is with us and for us, and the Angel is sent here as a part of that.

There's more going on than the eye can see, so God's messenger points it out. Since God is way too much for us to take, the messenger is sent in God's stead, like a diplomatic envoy. God could deal with us without using Angels. But God chose this way (among other ways) to keep in touch with us and not be a distant, impersonal being.  What happens is always between you and God.

Angels guide us in the way God wants us to go in a specific situation, sometimes calling us to take a specific action. We can just ignore them, but people usually find themselves responding instantly with some amount of trust, comfort, or awe.

Since the beginning of time, Angels have delivered God's messages to man. Sometimes the messages are warnings of impending danger, sometimes instructions as to what to do in a particular situation, sometimes they are simply "there" as protection from enemy forces. Sometimes they bring joyful announcements as in the day they announced the birth of Jesus.

"Angels announced the birth of Jesus "Do not be afraid" were the first words the Archangel spoke.

Why do we need angels? In truth, I don't know. God can deal with us in any way that pleases Him to do so. He can speak with us directly, in a burning bush, in dreams, visions and specifically through the Scriptures. Yet, He also employs Angels.  The Scripture says Angels were created for His pleasure. Perhaps it is as simple as that -- it pleases God to send the supernatural heavenly beings we call "Angels"  to minister to His children.
I don't know about you .... but  I Believe in Angels!

Jesus spoke of the existence of angels (and that's enough for me because I believe in Jesus!).

The Angels always obey God and do His work, they never force themselves unto people and obey the commandment of Free Will

The Angels know us at a deep level - our desires, our hopes and our dreams. Our Guardian Angels know our life purpose and where we may be blocked due to stress overload, fear or worry.

They can assist you in so many ways:

• bring inspiration and guidance
• solve problems
• provide protection
• improve relationships and generally make life a whole lot easier.
• help heal us on a physical, emotional and spiritual level
