What is Spiritual Leadership?
We live in a time where leadership is critical. We all know by now that political leadership got us where we are, and as a result everything around us are breaking or being derailed. Sadly, religious leadership has been absent since the beginning of this massive change for humanity. Economic leadership seems to have taken a backseat in many countries. Moral leadership is a possible way out of this quagmire, but whose morals do we accept? We know what we do not want, but that does not mean we know what we do want.
Over the last few decades, I have learnt that Spirit has the answer to everything - from highly spiritual questions to very practical matters. The only answer I have not managed to get yet is why I do not have green fingers like my dad had - but then that is probably because I am not seriously looking for an answer to that one.
I have over the past year been exposed to what I initially regarded as spiritual leadership. I have learnt that when someone claims to get instructions from Spirit, I am the last one to question that -because we all get instructions from Spirit daily in some shape or form.

I have over the past year been exposed to what I initially regarded as spiritual leadership. I have learnt that when someone claims to get instructions from Spirit, I am the last one to question that -because we all get instructions from Spirit daily in some shape or form.

I have also learnt that Spirit sometimes gives us instructions to follow, and other times Spirit gives us guidance, so that we then need to get up off our chairs, roll up our sleeves, and apply every practical skill and every piece of knowledge that Spirit has imparted to us over our lifetimes. Where a spiritual leader says, “I only follow Spirit’s instructions” and does nothing else, I want to ask why this cop-out is used. There is a universal law - I call it the Law of Opportunity - which I have been aware of for many years. My belief is that I take every opportunity that comes my way, and either add it to my long-running project plan or run with it now if that feels right. In my experience Spirit provides the open door and the elbow grease, but we need to walk through that door and start working.
I have also learnt that Spirit gives instructions that come from Universal Love. In a world where the business model for many individuals and businesses revolves around me, myself and I, Spirit gives instructions that embrace humanity, and that teaches us all the time that there is enough of everything for everyone on this planet. When we embrace that Spiritual guidance and become willing to learn how and where to share, everything flows and flourishes.
Another important aspect of guidance from Spirit which comes from Universal Love, is that Spirit never goes against Itself. When a spiritual leader talks about using violence to achieve a goal - whether it is physical or verbal violence - I am no longer surprised that one door after another closes for that leader. There is another Universal Law: what you sow, you will reap. For me it is important that a spiritual leader must sow hope and a future vision and embrace a dimension that is free of the obstacles and curveballs of this dimension. I am not just talking about a global vision of hope and Love that transcends into eternity. I am talking about simple things that people see and hear.
For example, a very well-known spiritual leader with a global following made it clear that he encourages the wearing of masks (and the accompanying message of fear) because that was the instruction from “the powers that be”. That confirmed my view that he is an excellent marketer rather than a spiritually connected leader whose aim is to take away fear and offer a future. If another spiritual leader makes it clear that one form of prayer is more acceptable than another form of prayer and weeds out his followers based on this view, I also wonder.

When a person receives “flavour of the week” instructions from Spirit and sways like a willow in the wind, I scratch my head in confusion. But that is my own view. I believe that Spirit guides each one of us on what to do and which direction to take. I personally experience that guidance as “a deep sense of knowing” - like a river flowing. As long as you go with the flow, you get more and more confirmation, and you achieve more and more.
I have had lots of confirmation of this in many readings I have done over the years. When you are convinced in your mind that you know which way the river must flow, you will be disappointed at every turn, because you will discover that the river runs its course just like it has always done - regardless of what you know or think you know. However, this “deep sense of knowing” keeps you on track and keeps you in the river - even when you hit white waters or a pond. This is where patience and trust come in.
A spiritual leader understands the immense power of words and will not put people down when they have different or opposing views. It is so true that the pen - and the tongue - are both much mightier than the sword, and that words contain their own magic.
I have also over the past year learnt that spiritual leadership does not necessarily come from people who declare themselves to be spiritual or religious. I have learnt so much from various people based in different countries who have established their own communication channels so that the rest of the world can receive clear and well researched solid information. Some of them initially declared themselves to be religious - and it may be my own prejudice, but I waited - and lo and behind, the nails are coming out to scratch, because you can only maintain a façade of righteousness for so long. Others are overflowing with spiritual jargon, and they are ready to provide the most outlandish claims in the name of spirituality - mostly because of their connections with entities from other planets. I am not saying they are all wrong, but sometimes I wonder…
And then there are the true spiritual leaders who will never even think of themselves as such, because they see themselves as financial or medical experts (or experts in other worldly fields) but their words and actions are so pure and inclusive and grounded in Love that you feel the connection with them every time.
Spiritual leadership is the way forward, and this bridging period is the time for us to discover who our true spiritual leaders are. They are the ones who see a future filled with hope and Love and trust.

Keep Calm and Take a Deep Breath
I have been reading up on chi and being aware of the life force and how we manage our awareness of that life force.
It struck me how unaware we as Westerners are of our breathing. You might say “what a strange thing to say. Of course I am aware of my breathing.” Did you remove your mask when you said that, or did you mumble the words through a mask while thinking how wonderful it would be to breathe freely again?
I needed to have a broken tooth fixed recently. When I entered the dental surgery, the first thing the receptionist said was “please put on your mask”. I did not do it. And no, it was not a political statement from my side. Since when is breathing freely a political statement? I simply continued breathing as my body as designed - good oxygen in, used stuff out - and away from me. This was at a dental surgery - where the dentist is a trained medical expert who chooses to ignore the most basic human act of breathing to retain the life force. Why?
We all learned the basics of breathing in primary school. Like I said: good oxygen in, used stuff out - and away from me. At what point did you stop remembering that? At what point did you hand control over your body over to a complete stranger?
You don’t need to be psychic to realise that we are heading to a self-fulfilling prophecy - where people will have respiratory infections that will be ascribed to an unproven virus. Brace yourself: the respiratory infections will to a large extent be the result of your personal decision to deprive your body from the oxygen it needs. Utter stupidity is not a virus - it is a way of thinking. When will you be taking that ownership of your body back?
I have cancelled my gym membership because “health experts” expected me to deprive myself of a few deep breaths after any exercise. Are they in such a deep hypnotic state that they don’t understand what they are doing to themselves and others? Instead, I am now studying tai chi which requires breathing in and out as part of each exercise.

What really gets my blood pressure up is parents who don’t ask a single question to determine what rights they have, but instead demand that their children are deprived of breath whenever they leave their homes. Those parents (and teachers and those so-called school psychologists) should be fighting with every fibre in their being for the health and wellbeing of their children. What do they do instead? If any parent had done this to a child two years - or even a year - ago, then there would have been outcries of child abuse. What has changed?
Parents are slowly depriving their children of their health and their ability to breathe freely and retain good health, because the parents are obedient. Teachers are enforcing rules that don’t make sense on any level, because they - adults with brains - are told to do so. Psychologists throw their most basic training out of the window to get onto the bandwagon and provide guidelines for children to cope with being deprived of breath and freedom of movement and being touched. I would not let such a psychologist loose in a chicken coop, never mind a school full of children. Such parents don’t deserve the blessing of children, and the people in authority over these children will end up in a special kind of hell for not speaking out, but rather depriving children of good, healthy breathing and living.
I will now go and take a few deep breaths outside so that I can calm down, and then continue to honour my body and breathe the way God intended me to.
What are you waiting for?

The Passion of Dust
This article documents a beautiful and crystal-clear dream I had. It is all about dealing with your baggage and those emotional issues that you would rather avoid because they still hurt.
In the dream I entered a very old, deserted house - but then I discovered that parts of the house were neglected and dirty, whereas other parts were squeaky clean. I realised this was my house, and I was in fact living in the house. The house was huge and double storied.
For some reason I was only using the downstairs rooms, and I really wanted to go to the first floor, but something prevented me.
Every time I approached the stairs, I turned away - because the stairs were so dusty that I did not want to use them. I preferred to stay downstairs rather than clean those stairs.

Every time I approached the stairs, I turned away - because the stairs were so dusty that I did not want to use them. I preferred to stay downstairs rather than clean those stairs.

It took me a while to realise why those stairs were so dusty. Whenever I wanted to step on the stairs, I hesitated, because I knew that I would stir up the dust, and that would have meant me dealing with the dust and cleaning those stairs one by one.
Spirit guided me to step hard on the first step. There was a cloud of dust. I waited for the dust to settle down. Then I stepped on the stair again, and there was a smaller cloud of dust. I had to step on the stair several times before I could see there was no dust left.
I felt incredible relief and joy and gratitude.
I then repeated the same process for each of the stairs, until I could reach the landing on the first floor.
Then I felt like I was finally home. I looked down and saw that there were still some dusty spots in the corners of the stairs. With a spring in my step, I fetched a cloth and cleaned each one of those stairs, until they were shining like the downstairs room.

When I woke up, I realised that this is how we need to deal with our baggage. Get each piece out in the open and expect that there will be strong emotions - the passion of the dust that gathered over time. Deal with the emotions, and then move to the next step. You may need to step hard on the dust each time you move one step up, or each time you step on a step that you had previously avoided.
If you want to reach that place of gratitude and joy, this is the only way you can reach it. Jumping from the ground floor to the top floor of your spiritual home is not an option - the dust will keep gathering and bring you down until you have done all your cleaning.
And yes, some steps may need more cleaning than others. That is OK. Imagine the satisfaction of looking down from the landing and noticing the remaining dust, and simply wiping it away. That is a far better option than avoiding those dusty stairs for the foreseeable future and limiting yourself to the ground floor of your spiritual mansion.
I love the way Spirit teaches us what is important!

God Has the Answers
Having and raising children are probably one of the greatest mysteries that God gave us. There is no manual, and sometimes it appears there is no rhyme or reason behind God’s decisions. But there is. There always is. We just need to keep our faith and focus on the future and on the fact that God is never wrong.
A person attempts suicide because they firmly believe this is the way out of a life where they have made one decision after another that brought them to the brink. They ensure that it is only an attempted suicide and keep a safety net for being found on time, so that their life can be saved. Their focus is entirely on themselves and on what they believe they want and need.
I have had to deal with attempted suicides of clients and friends in my life, and each time the question comes up: Is trying to take your life a cowardly act or one of the bravest things anyone can do? I cannot give you the answer, because I have never been in the shoes of someone who did this.
What I can give you are observations from a recent attempted suicide and the consequences for the person and their loved ones.

In this instance the person has had difficulty functioning normally for years. Their only solution is to consume prescription medication and refuse any other help of any kind, until they reach the end of the usefulness of that particular medication. Then their whole life implodes, and there is an attempted suicide, and then the cycle starts again.
In my book Deep Blue: A Guide to Empowerment Healing the following was dictated to me: “Why would a person want to kill themselves? Most of the time it is because they have lost all contact with the Source – or so they think. Even with the strongest energy blockage, the contact with the Source is always there. The denial is in the Mind of the person.”
So is a failed suicide a cry for help, or a devastating act of manipulation? I do not know.
What I can tell you is that in this instance three women were affected in different ways by this one act, and the answers will still come for each one of them.

One woman had a heart-rending question: why is it that an intelligent person why had all the opportunities in the world and beautiful children keeps choosing to end their life with the intention of failing, while her son who had so much to live for was taken from her in an instant and left her broken?
Another woman was heartbroken - yet again - with her own question: why is it that God never trusted her to raise her own child which she would have loved and cherished to the end of her days, but instead only trusted her to observe time and again how a child can destroy a parent?
And the third woman had to make peace - again - with being a mother who never did anything but love and care and help, only to face rejection time and again in so many different ways.

The only answer I have is that these experiences are part of our destiny, and therefore we will get the answers, if not in this life, then once we leave this life and continue our journeys in eternal life.
Yes, life is eternal and cannot be destroyed. In my book Deep Blue: A Guide to Empowerment Healing this answer is given: “…where the blockage is from a previous suicide, the healing is intense – like amputating a gangrenous limb to save a person’s life. In this instance the person does not need that ‘limb’ in the first place, and the healing that takes place is very deep.
We restore the faith of the person in the Source, and this healing results in a completely different outlook on life and a completely different lifestyle “. If not in this life, then in the next life. We need to trust in God to deliver on this …

Spirit Has an Answer
Recently an old friend died - not that he was so old. He went before retirement age, and we have not had contact for over four decades. But he was a friend. Until religion interfered.
His passing scratched open wounds from my teenage years that I thought I had made peace with.
This man was a lovely, intelligent boy with a good nature and a kind heart. He was also from a different religion - and a different language and culture. He was keen on me, and the feeling was mutual. We were teenagers, exploring relationships and being adults.
When I realised that this was more than a passing interest, I was happy and concerned - so concerned that I went to see the minister. I had many questions about the ethical and moral rights and wrongs of having a relationship with someone from a different religious group. I am not talking about anything extreme. He was a Methodist, and I was in the Dutch Reformed Church, which made us both Protestants. The point was that he was not a member of the Dutch Reformed Church.
Today this sounds like a laughable exaggeration, but at the time my world was wobbly because of the magnitude of the decision I had to make about the relationship. The easy way out was to stop seeing him, which is what I did. I knew I had hurt him, and I was hurt, but the blinkers were solidly in place.

The easy way out was to stop seeing him, which is what I did. I knew I had hurt him, and I was hurt, but the blinkers were solidly in place.

Now, four decades later, I know how incredibly childish and immature that decision was, and how different my life would have been if I bit the bullet and broke away from that restrictive cult. In my defence, I was a teenager who grew up in a God-fearing home and I only discovered in years that God is in fact a God of love.
During that same period, when I was already a young adult, my best friend got married. I did not attend her wedding. Why on earth not? Because she was a member of the Apostolic Faith Mission - where people actually enjoy going to church, and they show it with music and singing and praising God. My fear and indoctrination were such that I could not even see my way open to attend her wedding. That was cruel, but at the time it was the only option that I could see.
The friendship remained strong, and she actually attended my wedding.
That memory represented another big loss to me, and to this day I can remember being at home on that day, wishing with all my heart that I could share my friend’s big day and her joy, but at the same time knowing that the ostracism following the decision to attend would have been unbearable.
Little did I know that about a decade later, I would experience that same ostracism at full blast anyway when I got divorced.

Over the years I had more experiences that confirmed for me how vicious religious people can be. I worked in Ireland, a country still in the grip of a smothering Catholic Church, and saw the worst side of religious judgment - where a mass grave of babies and orphans was discovered at a convent, and where children in general were not safe from any men or the cloth. I lived in England, where it is totally acceptable to remain married and have several relationships after leaving the marital home, because of the social and religious judgment of the Church of England if you actually go through with a divorce. I am not sitting in moral judgment. Spirituality has taught me the importance of finishing unfinished business, and the church does not allow that.
Does this mean everything about religious is bad? On the contrary. If you read the holy scriptures of many religious, you will find the gems and the beauty in each one of them. And of course, there are many good people for whom religion and their religious practices form a resting place for their feet.
For me spirituality is my home and my comfort. There is nothing that cannot be resolved by Spirit, and there is no greater solace than what I get form communing with Spirit.

I was a qualified psychologist for many years and gave up that title because I encountered situations where no amount of psychological training could help me.
As a psychologist and a Christian, I was never taught in which box to put the person who came to me, desperate for help halfway during a sex change and feeling suicidal. Spirit had an answer.
As a psychologist and a Christian, I was never taught what is the best way to council a prisoner who called me from death row in the US two days before his execution, for a psychic reading. Spirit had an answer.
I have since been through experiences in my own life that got me close to breaking point, and I was able to learn and see patterns and get explanations that do not appear in any religious scripture or academic textbook. I now help people who go through similar experiences. Spirit had an answer.

Listen and Do
This is a time to get straight to the point. The world – not just South Africa – is dithering precariously on the precipice, and it is up to each one of us how we deal with this situation.
We are heading for a showdown between good and evil. Who will win? I saw a video not so long ago where a participant in a debate stated that the outcome of the current madness is predestined by God, and God never loses. That truly hit me between the eyes and in my heart.

GOD NEVER LOSES.

Does that mean we need to simply sit back and wait for God to do His thing, so that we can go back to our convenient old routines again? Clearly not – we cannot return to division and hatred and “my religion is better than yours” and “let’s pray for all the people of one skin colour at the exclusion of another”. None of that is valid any longer. All of that belongs to the Age of Pisces, and we have left all of it behind us.
We are now in the Age of Aquarius. We are waking up to a new world – a world of looking after each other and sharing our future. We are entering a world where it is always clear who will win the race between good and evil. We are also understanding more and more that it is not for us to decide what is good and what is evil.

IF IT IS NOT FOR US TO DECIDE
WHAT IS GOOD AND WHAT IS EVIL,
THEN HOW WILL WE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE?
WHAT IS GOOD AND WHAT IS EVIL,
THEN HOW WILL WE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE?
We will know when we allow God (or whatever you want to call your Maker) to talk straight into our hearts. We will know when we look a person in the eyes and see the goodness there. Our eyes never lie, and remember, the eyes are the windows to the soul. Not the skin colour. The eyes.
We need to take care of each other, and we need to stand together.
How should we stand together? There is only one answer to this. We need to stand together in prayer and in meditation – not because God needs any help, but because we need to be willing to receive clear instructions from God – and those instructions will be founded in Love.

This is not the time to take up arms – leave that for the people who need most of our prayers, no matter the reason why they feel that the solution is to take up arms against their fellow citizens. In this country we have been there and done that, and we all know where it got us. What we should rather do is pray that those who believe in an eye for an eye, or those who are instructed to take the lives of other people in the name of duty, must feel a stirring in their hearts to put down their arms and stand with the rest of humanity in prayer against evil.
This is not about helping an Almighty God – it is rather about helping ourselves and our loved ones to listen to the instructions from a loving God. The more we are willing to listen, the clearer the instructions will be.
Am I writing this on behalf of any religion? Definitely not – I am not religious at all. Am I trying to convince anyone to leave their religion? Definitely not – who am I to tell anyone what to believe? Am I writing this for the people of one country? Definitely not – this situation touches everyone in the world – both the perpetrators and those who want to see Love win this situation.
I am writing this to say pray to God in whichever way and pledge your faith, and then meditate so that you can get clear instructions from God, no matter what the basis of your faith or religious beliefs are. These are our strongest weapons. Let us use them.
Namaste.

Did you guess right?
I have many regular clients in different countries who get psychic readings for their own or business issues. Quite often I feel that I learn more from the readings than they do.
One of the lessons that I am often reminded of is that it is not a good idea to second guess Spirit. Of course, my readings are not always 100% accurate, because I am human, and I need to listen carefully and ensure I convey what I am given.
I had a client who was not happy in her job. People who get readings from me know that I do not ask many questions. I first connect and give everything I receive, and then I answer any remaining questions. I received an image of this client with a briefcase in one hand and a passport in the other hand, boarding a plane with a one-way ticket to her destination. It was as clear as day to me that she was going to accept a job in a different country, and that she was going to move from one country to another. It turned out that she was from Estonia and based in the UK, and ready to move to either Brazil or Peru - she had applied for jobs in both countries. After I had described to her the image that was given to me and confirmed that she would be leaving the UK and the reason would be her acceptance of a job in a different country, I asked if she had any questions. She had one: “Am I going to get a job in another country and move away from the UK?”.
All I can say is that maybe she was not ready to hear what I had told her.

Another client in England had a problem with damp in a corner house he owned. He had tried everything to get rid of the damp, and after two years was at the end of his tether. I told him that there was a leaking water pipe on the sidewalk that ran parallel with the railway line. He had two issues with this answer: the damp was on the opposite side of the house, and there was no railway line near the property. However, this client trusted and went away to investigate. He called me about two weeks later, quite excited. It turned out that there was a disused railway line that very few people knew about, around 200 yards from the house. He started digging, not on the sidewalk, but just inside the boundary. The water pipe he uncovered was Victorian and ran underneath the house to the other side of the house, where the damp was. He then got permission to dig up the sidewalk and fixed the leak within days. He told me a few months later that the issue had been completely resolved. He trusted and so did I.
I have a client in Scotland who, after over a decade of regular readings, still struggle with anything he receives that is not precise. My suspicion is that Spirit is by now teasing him and giving him precise information, but not on his timescale. He has an issue with an ancient property and some jiggery-pokery happening with his neighbour, who is hellbent on abusing an ancient law to get the property for next to nothing. In short, the current owner must prove access on an existing road for at least 20 years, or else the access road cannot be regarded as part of the property. My client could only prove access for about 17 years, and the crooked neighbour wanted to use this fact to devalue the property - to ensure that anyone can only access the huge property on foot. The neighbour even went as far as erecting a locked gate to prevent access, claiming that he had a right to do so.
About a year ago I told the client two things: Firstly, an important man will take up his case and that will result in publicity. Secondly, my client will sell the property to a buyer who will save the day by telling my client about a little-known law that will swing the situation in his favour.
Of course Mr Impatient wanted to know the exact surname of the important man and the new buyer, and on which exact dates each one will come knocking at his door, and as much detail about each one as possible, so that he can be prepared and “not miss anything”.

And then nothing happened for months on end. The important man was not the council employee in charge of the case, or the solicitor, or the Lord of the Manor. So, who was it? And when would this man appear?
The property was on the market, and no buyers came forward for months. When will the buyers come knocking on the door? What colour car do they drive? Will there be one or two people? What price will they offer?
Sorry - I could not tell - because it was not even revealed to me. Patience is a virtue.
About nine months after this information was revealed to me (and my client) I had an extremely excited client on the line. The “important man” was no less than the local Member of Parliament who got wind of the situation, called my client, and added the facts to his campaign for clean governance.
The buyer, who happened to discover in a social situation that the house was for sale, made an offer, and my client made a counteroffer for the buyer’s smaller house. This suited both parties to a tee and the paperwork flowed.

My client, being the honest man that he is, was upfront about the legal wrangle around the access road.
Oh, said the new buyer. There is a little-known law in Scotland which states that if anyone maintains the verge of an access road that borders on his neighbour’s property, as well as the access road, for ten years, then ownership of BOTH verges and the access road defaults to the party who can prove maintenance for ten years.
You cannot imagine how happy this man was once he had confirmed the existence of the law and his claim of ownership.
The bottom line is: we are not told everything, and what we hear is sometimes not what we want to hear. I am not for a moment saying that every psychic is accurate every time - we are human, and we must listen carefully. But patience is a virtue, and often a healthy dose of faith and common sense need to be added to any psychic reading.

The Craziness of Fear
Let me start off by reminding you that fear is an acronym for False Expectations Appearing Real.
Look around you. What is your current reality? Why do you allow this to be your current reality? We both know the answer: fear. Fear of the future - which doesn’t even exist yet, because we are here and now, and this is the only place where we can be. Fear of being arrested for living a normal life - and because so many people have this fear, everyone is convincing themselves and their neighbours that it is OK to have fear.
Judgment has gone out of the window. People are all too willing to believe that a mask - of any kind - can prevent a virus that is not even airborne from being spread. How can you spread a virus by breathing out what your body no longer needs? How can you breathe out a virus that can only spread by touch?

Or maybe you can spread this virus by breathing out what your body no longer needs. If that is the case, how far should you be from another person to prevent the spread? Is it 1.5 metres or 2 metres? Based on what research?
I can cite here so many examples of the most nonsensical behaviour that is accepted and practised based on fear.
What is behind all this? Nope - I will not write about politics and that unnamed threat and broken systems and what else.
Let me tell you about the immense power of what happens between your ears daily.
We are all energy, right? Of course. Energy is in the form of a wave until we add consciousness and then the energy becomes a particle - and many particles become a thing, and that thing materialises.

So what we have here is a few billion people who tuned into the same reality that is fear-based, because they don’t understand the power of their thoughts and how they are creators every day of their lives. And if you don’t create your future, there is always someone who is willing to do it on your behalf.
I see every day how people cross red robots or stop signs - because they are not afraid of the consequences. Show me one person that has never broken any law anywhere or at any time in their life, and I will show you a saint.
Show me one person who is not complaining about the laughable restrictions - not in one country, but across the world, and I will show you a person who understands the power of thought.
We are living with broken legal and governance systems. We complain about our broken world every day. We focus our thoughts on making things around us more broken.
What if we take those same thoughts and we allow ourselves to think about a future where we create what we need for the greater good, and we don’t spend any time, money or energy on fear?

It is over 100 years old, and it is easy to read. It will blow your mind, and it will help you understand that our future depends not on how many rules we follow, but on how we use our thoughts to create a future.

Age of Aquarius (Part 2)
If you are familiar with crop circles, you will know how these crop circle patterns have told a story over the last two decades that have become more complex and more fascinating every year. And if you thought that crop circles only occur in European countries, think again. There have been crop circles in parts of Kwa Zulu Natal in South Africa for many years, and they also appear in various European countries and even in the United States.
Over the past century there have also been quantum leaps (pun intended) in quantum physics which explain and confirm many aspects of spirituality as not just intuitive, but facts that can be proven.
The Age of Aquarius is about challenging conventions.
For me, this is not about lawlessness - on the contrary. The whole movement of Aquarius is about inspiring change towards in the world, starting with yourself, towards inclusiveness and acceptance.
We still have a long way to go. The current situation is bringing to the foreground all sorts of petty limitations that need to disappear. For example, a person complains about the enforced house arrest which is resulting in people going hungry - which in my view is a crime against humanity. It so happens that the complainant has a skin colour that is identifiable from their name. The immediate response is “yes, but you voted for the ruling party - see what you got now” when the response should be “how can I extend my hand to you and either give you food or arrange for you to get food - even when it means non-violent civil disobedience?”.

When this state of house arrest (also known as lockdown) started, a complaint that was voiced on numerous occasions was “I expected by domestic helper/nanny/gardener to move into the garage for the time being so that they can continue providing comfort for me and my family. They turned down my very generous offer and are now staying with their families while I have to clean up after myself. Some people’s actions make no sense to me.” If you just spit out your coffee while reading this, I would love to know why.
These are simple examples but based on that I want to ask you a question. What are you doing right now to make this world a better place for everyone, regardless of their race, creed, gender, or belief system? Are you at the forefront of the change or are you still looking for someone to blame for the changes that are resulting in a brave new world?
The Age of Aquarius will teach us to look out for each other. The coming times are humanitarian and definitely not destructive. We will be required to be rational and objective, while using our hearts. We will be expected to reach across all borders - not just social borders, but country borders and in fact any border that divides us from our neighbours - because “love your neighbour” is now even more imperative than it has been in any previous Age.
Each one of us will from now on be required to take responsibility for ourselves as well as for those around us. This is not negotiable.
The flip side of this coin is that if you had any intention to look for the nearest person to take responsibility for you (like Jesus was supposed to do before he disappeared), that is not the solution. It is time for you to take responsibility for yourself in the first place, and then for those around you. It is not time for you to find another saviour while you shirk your responsibility. It is time to get up and go. You can, and you must.

Welcome to the Age of Aquarius (Part 1)
I am sure you are familiar with the line “This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius” from the musical Hair from the 60s.
Guess what? We are right inside the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. But what does it mean?
The constellations change to a new zodiac sign roughly every 2 150 years. I am using the word “roughly” because time is a man-made concept that helps us cope with this dimension. The stars and the stellar system follow their own waves, and they are not interested in the clocks and calendars that we use on earth.
The dawning of the Age of Aquarius indicates that we have been coming out of the Age of Pisces, and we are now entering the new Age of Aquarius.
The last time we had an Age of Aquarius was around 13 000 years ago, during Babylonian times. Legend says that the Age of Aquarius begins when the March equinox point moves out of the constellation Pisces and into the constellation Aquarius.
Did this happen in March 2020? Or before that? Or even in the previous century? Apparently, astrologers cannot give us a definitive answer - which does not surprise me, because the stars follow their own rules. The planets don’t operate on earthly rhythms. They wander around like drunken flies, but at the same time with a clear sense of destiny and direction. If you want to see how the planets move, start studying crop circles and their beautiful patterns.

I suspect we have made that shift from Pisces to Aquarius a while ago, and this is now clearly reflected in what is happening around is.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and contains elements of all the previous zodiac signs. Pisces was the swan song of a previous era. That means the Age of Aquarius is a new beginning, not only of a new zodiac sign, but of a new era of around 13 000 years.
We left the Age of Pisces with a deep sense of knowing and a focus on faith. Over the past 2 000 years humanity did a lot of introspection and wanted answers about creativity, spirituality and intuition. We were all taught about altruism and self-sacrifice - and we had to learn all these things, because in previous eras we did everything we could to destroy each other.
The Age of Aquarius is a completely new beginning, with a mantra of “I know”. This is not the opposite of faith. Instead, this is an age where we can prove what we have intuitively known for millennia.
Of course, this comes with a lot of new knowledge and reform for humanity.
Can we blame a virus for this change? Yes, the virus and the completely irrational response to the virus has rubbed our noses int o the fact that nothing will be the same again.
However, we are still looking for getting back to the status quo, when in fact there has been a new status quo for many years - and it has got nothing to do with shopping and exercising.
Do you remember how the Law of Attraction has swept the spiritual world a few years ago? And there were the books on Conversations with God and A Course in Miracles and Gary Renard’s amazing book The Disappearance of the Universe?
All of those books, and many others, clearly indicated that the old rules no longer work. These works give us guidelines on navigating a new world. If you have those books, do yourself a favour and read them again.
But the wave of change did not stop there.

Afraid? Remember the Law of Attraction
We live in times of change on a scale that few of us can imagine. We know where we come from, but in a very short time the world has changed, and it will never return to what it was.
Whose fault is it? Depends on which social media you allow into your consciousness. Did the virus originate from an animal in a dirty Chinese market? Or was it planted in the market - or even in a few places - by the US government? Does the virus follow the footprint of 5G? Is it in fact not a virus, but rather your body’s reaction to 5G radiation?
And I am sure you can add to the list.
My question is: What can you do about any of those possible causes?
And the answer is simple: Nothing.
Does that leave you powerless?
On the contrary. It leaves every single one of us in a position of power that is mind-blowing.
Have you noticed that? Or are you inadvertently adding to fearmongering by spreading anything that relates to the situation, whether it is true or relevant or appropriate or not? If you are too quick on the Send or Forward button, here is a suggestion. You could spend time on doing your research on the internet and getting facts. Or even better, get off the internet as far as you can, and claim your power.

What does that mean: claim your power?
Remember how the Law of Attraction became everyone’s bible a few years ago? Even today there are still prophets around who sell expensive courses so that you can get rich/find the perfect partner/find your soulmate/do anything your heart desires overnight by just following what the course tells you - once you have made the financial dreams of the course creator come true.
Here is a but of truth that I will give you for free: The Law of Attraction works - but only together with a lot of elbow grease and focus.
There is a simple mantra that encompasses the Law of Attraction: What you think about and thank about, you bring about. It is that simple.
Think about what you want - and do it in detail and with an action plan. Say thank you and feel the gratitude for what you are about to receive. Then see how it materialises based on your action. Try it - dream your dreams, and then do what is needed to make those dreams reality. The more you do that, the more the Universe adds to the scale of your dreams, and the more materialises for you.
What does that have to do with the pandemic?
What are you thinking about? What do you allow to fill your mind? What do you focus on? That is what you bring about.
And the only way to get the future we all want, is to focus on that future rather than on the myriad of distractions that the media feed us.
I run a WhatsApp group that is meant to focus on gratitude and give people hope. I want everyone to focus on the purpose of the group. You have no idea how I have my hands full sending fear and fearful posts and fearful attitudes away from the group - I spend a lot of time explaining what the group is about, and next another post jumps out (just like a virus) and I have to start again.
And no, I am not like an ostrich with my head in the sand. My view is that there are hundreds of groups and sites where there is a place for everything related to the pandemic, but my group is there to provide balance, by focusing on the amazing new world that is unfolding right under our noses.
What you think about and thank about, you bring about.
I choose to think about spiritual awakening, recognising the truth, and spreading Unconditional Love. That is the Law of Attraction in action.
What is your version of the Law of Attraction? What do you think about and thank about?

We Have Lockdown. So?
Millions of people all over the globe are house-bound and only allowed to go out for essential trips. Of course, I could write a book about the reasons for this, and whether the lockdown is justified or not. However, it is what is.
The more important question is what to do about it.
In a way this is better than experiencing a full moon. An adult body consists of around 60% water. If you know what the moon can do to the ocean in terms of tides, imagine what the moon does with the water in your body during full moon! When this happens, many people feel as if they are being attacked by an invisible power, and they “fight back” with anger and aggression.
With the lockdown, we cognitively understand what is happening. However, many people still struggle with fear and anxiety, and if they don’t get help, they feel overwhelmed very quickly.
What can you do about it?
Firstly, go inside - no, not inside your house, because you should already be inside the house unless you have a garden to enjoy. I mean meditate. Just experience the silence in and around you, with no expectations.
This is a time where you can assess your faith. There is this silly belief that spiritual people who don’t go to church or follow organised religion also don’t believe in God - or whatever you choose to call this higher power. We know that is not true. We do believe in a Higher Power, and we know better than to blame this Higher Power for a man-made situation. If you have any doubts, you can fall into the trap of doubting or blaming yourself for not believing “enough”, or you can do something far more constructive: put your doubts into words, and find the reason for the doubts, and deal with them. There are always people who are willing to be used as a sounding board, and who can help you strengthen your faith.
One of the big issues for many people is the fear of dying. A truly spiritual understanding is that life and death cannot be separated, and that dying is really like changing into invisible clothes. You never cease to exist. If it is your time based on your life script, then that is how it is. Do you really want to leave this world in fear? Not me, thanks.

The second thing you can do is assess what is happening in the world. You can focus on the fearmongering and misinformation in social media, but I for one do my best to avoid that like the plague. I choose to delete anything that remotely looks like chainmail or that is meant to instil fear, and rather focus on all the good that is already happening in the world. Fear lowers your body vibration and compromises your immune system, whereas gratitude has the opposite effect.
Find the opposite of anything that you feel instils fear in you and find the gratitude for a unique experience. You will say this is easier said than done, but I have read about a way to do this that is so simple and powerful that it is mind-blowing.
When the emotions overwhelm you and you feel that there is no way out, ask yourself a simple question: “So?” and see what happens.
For example, a client told me she is in a total panic about her aged mother’s health and immune system. I asked “So?” and the client said: “she is in lock-down in a nursing home”. I asked “So?” and the client said: “Nobody can get to her - not even me”. I asked “So?” and the client said “That means her chances of getting infected are miniscule”.
The exchange may sound simple, but you should have seen the effect on the client. Suddenly she radiated and her whole demeanour changed. She smiled broadly and I could feel only relief from her.
When you feel overwhelmed, use this simple word and ask yourself “So?” and see and feel what happens to you. When someone else radiates fear to you, ask the same question, and ask it until you see the change in the person.
One simple word can help us through this wonderful opportunity to turn the world around, and it can start with one person at a time.
So?

Creating Gratitude
Is it possible to create gratitude rather than just feel it momentarily? Yes, it is. Let me explain.
The Universe is in complete balance - from the largest global pandemic to the smallest sub-atomic particle. That is how everything was created. We tend to forget about this incredibly beautiful balance when we get stuck in emotions.
There is a difference between emotions and feelings. Did you know there are over 3000 words in the English language that describe emotions? Emotions are energy in motion, and they get us into trouble all the time because when we have emotions, we have knee-jerk reactions.
Try this. Express anger as you read this. It doesn’t matter what you are angry at. Just express anger. Notice how your body and your face instinctively know what to do. You know exactly which of the muscles in your face to use, and how to use them, so that nobody will be in any doubt that you are angry. See what happens to your breathing and your body. Your body knows the difference between angry and happy and will follow your command.
You can do the same for any other emotion, such as sad, excited, lonely and so on.
All those are emotions. Then what is a feeling? Think back to the most amazing time in your life. Was it your first kiss? Or the first time you held your child in your arms? Wat is when you got married? You know when what you felt was beyond words.
Now tell your body to go back to that moment and express that moment in your face, breathing and muscles. Not that easy, huh? In fact, I would be surprised if you can mimic even 1% of what you felt at that moment. Describing it as “happy” would be like describing the ocean as “wet” - it just wouldn’t work. Those are moments that you cannot express in words, and your body cannot enter that state on command. Those are feelings. They lasted anywhere from a few minutes to maybe a week - where you felt that you were walking on clouds and it was out of this world. You experienced heaven.
You need to grasp this before you can understand how to work towards creating gratitude.
Gratitude is not just another emotion on the list. Gratitude is a process that happens in your body, and when you have experienced gratitude, you cannot go back to any other past state of mind or body.

Gratitude is not just another emotion on the list. Gratitude is a process that happens in your body, and when you have experienced gratitude, you cannot go back to any other past state of mind or body.

Now is a wonderful time to practice working on gratitude. Identify the one issue or experience around you right now that causes you the most emotional discomfort whether it is fear, anxiety, depression or whatever you are feeling but don’t want to feel. Experience that feeling in every cell of your body. Write down something that is bad or intolerable in the situation. For example, you cannot shake hands with people. Then find the opposite of that experience that you can observe - if not in yourself, then in other people. For example, whenever you cannot shake hands, you find yourself looking the person in the eyes, and you suddenly realise how much you have not observed before in other people.
It is important to take one item at a time - in other words, don’t rush down a list of negatives, and then go back to the first one and try to think of a positive to counterbalance it. You take one item at a time and find the balance.
Then you observe the magic that happens in you as you go through the exercise. One thing is that you break down your fears as you built them up - one brick at a time.
The second thing is that the more you do this, the more you find balance in every cell of your body - even if you think you only apply your mind while doing the exercise. There will come a moment when you reach the end of the exercise - not when you decide you have had enough, but when you feel the effect in your body. It is difficult to put into words but think of a magic explosion of light in every cell of your body. Suddenly you get that floating feeling, and you have complete perspective on the situation - more than ever before - and not a shred of the original emotion remains.
The physical effect is that a quantum of light is created in every cell of your body. As a result, your body vibration goes up - and that is permanent - it never goes down to a previous level again.
So yes, you can create gratitude, but gratitude is not just another emotion - it is a feeling that you can work towards, until you feel it.
Will this gratitude last? Yes - for anything from a few minutes to a week. And then you start again - because you are still in this life, and that is how life works. However, every time you do this, it becomes easier, it expands your consciousness, and your body vibration increases. Is that something you can look forward to and work towards?
