A Successful Case Study
By Ann Rigby
MS Lady of 76 years, still working six days a week in charge of garden shop with nursery. Living with long time companion of 90 years who smokes and likes to take whisky with his sleeping pills. This has a habit of causing him to be unsteady and fall, sometimes out of bed in the middle of the night. His hearing is also a little lacking, so there is often misunderstanding, leading to shouting and upset. As he is alone at home all day (flat) he wants to talk when MS comes home at night and all she wants is a little peace.
MS was complaining of stress, a funny "shiver" as if someone were walking over her grave sort of thing, that came upon her unawares several times a day. Also neuralgia of the face and neck pain from an old injury and a fuzzy head.
We agreed to try the three-times-a-week-for-a-month routine and see what would develop. We began on Friday, 2 July.
After the first treatment, MS said that she slept wonderfully and her head was clear.
After the 3rd she said that the neuralgia had improved and that she was more relaxed.
After the 4th she said that there was not so much stress at home now, and thought it was due to being more relaxed about things and not getting upset so quickly.
After the 5th one she said that she was definitely sleeping better and was much calmer.
After the 7th treatment the "shivers" that she had been getting went away and her neck was no longer troubling her.
She had an appointment with Frans K. as he had been treating her for her neck and when she went he said that her neck was now fine, it was lower down the spine that needed treatment now, and she didn't need to come again for 2 months.
As MS was so much better we decided that she would only take treatment when she felt that she needed it, for example when her companion had fallen out of bed.
All the family went out to lunch at full moon in August and MS lost her temper with him in front of all the family and after wards he kept on going on about how she had humiliated him in front of all the family.
She had been doing so well, but I said that anyone could have lost their temper at full moon under a lot less provocation too. Full moon has a terrible effect on a lot of our customers.
Every time MS comes for a treatment she always says that her head is clear afterwards and she absolutely enjoys it. I do feel that without the Indian Head Massages MS would have been a nervous wreck by now. She is no longer taking her valium.
Typical Reactions After Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage has so far been the best therapy that I have learnt in respect of cost, time of study involved, simplicity, ease of practice and excellent results.
